About
The history of Kobe Seiai Church begins with the missionary work in Kobe (1882) by missionary H. Reese, who was sent from the Northern Baptist Church in the United States.
In 1945, three churches that had been destroyed in air raids during the war merged to form "Kobe Seiai Church," and the current sanctuary was constructed in 1992. It belongs to the "United Church of Christ in Japan," a union church comprised of various denominations.
